In the box, you will receive the hub itself, a power brick, and a USB 3.0 cable.

The hub is built of aluminum which makes it very durable and lightweight. The aluminum unibody also gives it a nice look and feel.

There are two other ports on this device. The DC port which is used to power it, and the USB 3.0 which connects it to your computer. You can plug in USB drives, phones, cameras, etc. and they will all be able to communicate with your computer simultaneously . The tenth USB port is the dedicated charging port. This means it will charge your device at a faster rate than any other port. When it comes to plain charging, your don’t have to use the USB 3.0 port on the back. One other thing I absolutely love about the ports is that they all have a nice and snug fit.

Lastly, the hub features individual LED indicator lights. If the blue light is on, your device is connected and receiving power from that port. There is also a green LED at the very top which tells you that the whole hub is connected and receiving power.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this is an extremely handy accessory that can be very useful in many different scenarios. It is made of high quality materials and can handle just about any device you throw at it. The only thing I don’t like is the power brick. It is fairly heavy and bulky which isn’t very practical when traveling. The bright side to having the brick is that it gives you extra cable length which is helpful when the outlet is further away. One last thing I wish this hub had is rubber grip pads on the bottom. This would keep it from slipping and sliding when set upon a desk or a surface. In conclusion, I’m very pleased and happy with this USB hub.
