CleanMyDrive 2 is a very handy little application made by MacPaw. This is a very useful tool if you use or own any type of external drive. Please note that CleanMyDrive 2 is only compatible with Mac OS X 10.10 or higher. The best thing about CleanMyDrive 2 is that it’s free!

As can be seen from the screenshot above, CleanMyDrive 2 lives in the menu bar of your Mac.This makes it especially easy to use since it’s always there whenever you need it. Although the interface looks very basic, it can do a lot more than you would think. You can eject each drive one by one, or you can eject them all in the click of a button. If that’s too hard, you can create your own custom keyboard shortcut to eject all of the drives at once.

Another handy feature of CleanMyDrive is very obvious. It can clean your drive. If you’re like me, you can set it to where it will automatically clean the drive every time it is ejected.

The best feature, in my opinion, is the drag and drop feature. Since the CleanMyDrive 2 icon is always in the top menu bar, you can drag and drop any file from just about anywhere on your Mac.
